Vegetation Program Volunteer Days on the South Rim: July 9-11, 2010

Overview

Inspiring generations of artists, explorers, and tourists for over a century, Grand Canyon National Park is one of America 's greatest landscapes. During your visit to the South Rim you will be assisting Vegetation Program staff on myriad projects including the restoration of construction areas, the removal of non-native plants, and the maintenance of our native plant nursery. We will work from 8 AM ? 4 PM with an hour for lunch every day. Over the course of your visit here Vegetation Program staff will introduce you to the natural history of the park through a series of informal talks. We look forward to having you out at the park to assist our staff to help    protect this fabulous resource.
