Overview
National Public Lands Day is the largest public volunteer event in the nation helping to improve the public lands Americans enjoy. Come join the Vegetation Program at Grand Canyon National Park for a day of hands-on activities involving restoration, invasive species management, and nursery maintenance. We will be working on the scenic South Rim on a huge variety of projects. While you are here enjoy the Grand Canyon's Bright Angel Trail on a hike to Plateau Point, the Grand Canyon IMAX movie in Tusayan, or have a nice dinner overlooking the canyon from the Arizona Room.
